2007-2008 LUNCH PROGRAM 

Dear St. Patrick’s Family, 

The 2007-2008 Lunch Program will be offered during the months of October through May.  As in the past, the Lunch Program will be offered Monday through Thursday of each week.  Fridays are left open because of minimum days and to give groups within the school opportunities to offer lunches as fundraisers, such as hot dog lunches.  The vendors, menu information, and pricing are shown on the reverse side of this letter.   

ONLINE ORDERING

We will continue to use Lunch Works software for online lunch ordering with a new, easy-to-use calendar format.  Please note that we will not offer a “manual” order option this year.  If you would like to participate in the Lunch Program and do not have access to a computer, please contact Betsy Comstock at (760) 757-5871, and we will make arrangements for you to use the PTG computer at the school.  

You may access Lunch Works via the web site, http://www.lunchworks.net/ca/stpatrick/.  Just log in and follow the instructions.  Your family’s User ID and Password is in the blue lunch envelope Friday, September 7.   

IMPORTANT POLICIES
  • Each month, your family’s blue lunch envelope will come home on the first Friday of the month.  YOU WILL HAVE ONE WEEK TO PLACE YOUR CHILD’S LUNCH ORDER AND SEND PAYMENT TO THE SCHOOL.  **NEW:  THE LUNCH WORKS SYSTEM WILL CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY AND NO LUNCH ORDERS CAN BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE SYSTEM CLOSES. **
  • After placing your order, please place ONLY a check for your family’s balance due, payable to St. Patrick’s PTG, in the blue envelope and return it to school with your child by the following Friday.
 
IF YOUR CHECK IS NOT RECEIVED BY 2:30 P.M. ON THE DUE DATE, YOUR CHILDREN’S LUNCH ORDERS WILL BE CANCELLED! 
  • Monthly DUE DATES are listed on the web site, on a sticker on the front of the blue lunch envelope, and will be listed in the school newsletter.
  • **NEW:  The first time an order is placed for a student, a one-time fee of $0.75 will appear on the statement.  This is a per-student registration fee that is being charged to our school by Lunch Works. **
  • CREDITS AND/OR REFUNDS FOR LUNCHES ORDERED WILL NOT BE GIVEN if your student is absent for any reason, including field trips.  If a class returns from a field trip on a day that lunches were ordered, the lunches will be delivered to the classroom and distributed to the students upon their return.

Tuesdays Submarina
  • 3-inch Turkey and Ham subs, priced at $3.50
  • NEW Turkey and Ham wraps, priced at $4.50 (Wraps replace 6-inch subs)
  • NEW Salads, priced at $4.50 (different choice each month, dressing included)
  • All sandwiches and wraps will come with LETTUCE and a side order of Sun Chips (NEW this year)
  • Mayo, mustard, and tomato will be available to add
Wednesdays Knockout Pizzeria

NEW VENDOR!

  • Individually packaged pizza slice (cheese or pepperoni) , similar in size to the Personal Pizzas offered by Pizza Hut last year, priced at $2.50
  • Can order two pizzas if desired 
Thursdays Top of the Bagel
  • Chicken Noodle Soup and Bagel with Cream Cheese
  • Caesar Chicken Salad with Breadstick
  • Burrito choice, alternating each month between Chicken/Cheese and Bean/Cheese
  • Bagel Dog or Pepperoni Pocket, alternating each month
  • All selections priced at $3.50 and no longer include a cookie

Lunch Works Calendar Format Instructions

  1. From the St. Patrick School web site, www.stpaddys.org, click on the Lunch Works logo.
  2. Click on the words “Click here to place lunch orders.”
  3. At the Lunch Works login screen, enter your User Name and Password and click “Login.”.
  1. On the left side of the screen, a list will appear.  Click on the words “Order Form,” and the calendar format order form for the entire month will appear.
  2. On the left side of the screen, you will now see a list of your children.  Select the child you want to order for and simply click on the boxes for each item for each day of the month. 
  3. If you would like to see a description of the item, including the price, click on the question mark symbol next to the item.
  4. When the items for the first child have been selected for the entire month, click on the box that says, “Click here to save the orders for this child.”
  5. Follow steps 5-7 for each child in your family.
  6. When the lunch orders have been saved for all of the children in your family, click on the words “check out” at the top of the screen.
  7. The Check Out screen will show your total.  
  8. Click on the box that says, “Pay Now.”  A screen will appear requesting information.  Please fill out this information.  Be sure to include the check number of the check you will be sending in the blue envelope to pay for your family’s lunches.  Under the delivery options, please select “Student,” as one of your children will be bringing the blue envelope back to school with your check enclosed. 
  9. Click “Submit,” and you will receive a confirmation and a short account summary.
  10. PLEASE BE SURE TO SEND YOUR CHECK IN THE BLUE ENVELOPE BY THE DUE DATE, OR YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED.  
 

PRINTING YOUR ORDERS:

  • You will notice that you can print the entire menu for the month at any time from the order form screen by clicking “Print.” 
  • A better option:  After you have completed the order and check out processes, you also may print a calendar with only the items that your children ordered.  From the main screen, click on “View Prior Orders,” and select the month you wish to print.
